How many families are on a trip?
It depends on the size of the families and the destination. In general, anywhere from 5-8 families is our sweet spot!
I would like to take the trip with just my family, can you plan a trip for us?
Unfortunately we cannot. Our trips are designed for multiple families to enjoy together. We do offer options to create private experiences within our packages such as a private airport transfer. Need more privacy than what’s offered, we’ll be happy to review specific request once you’re confirmed on our trip.
Can I change my flight to arrive earlier or later?
You’re more than welcome to choose the Land Only package which gives you flexibility for your flights. However, the package dates are set and the group itinerary will remain the same.
Can I upgrade our flights to a higher class of service than coach?
Not at the moment, though we are working on this feature. You can select the Land Only package and purchase the flights in the cabin that suits you and your family.
Do you work with school groups or private groups?
Private groups are welcome to join us on a trip, however there must be at least one parent guardian for every 3 kids. We currently do not have a school group package.
Why can’t I book a package with one room for my family of 4?
Depending on the destination, hotel occupancy rules are regulated and controlled by the government. Occupancy is usually based on the size of rooms and number of beds and is established to maintain a safe and pleasant environment. The max number of guests in a room cannot be changed.
Do you have rates for kids?
Our packages are designed exclusively for families with kids and our package price factors in children as guests. Because of this, there is a max of 2 adults (18 and older at time of travel) per room.
Can I bring my parents?
Yes. We welcome travelers from all generations.
Can I travel solo?
If you’re traveling with a family and you wish to have a room to yourself, we can work this out for you. Please send us an email at hello@mochatravelandtours after your first room is booked, and we can assist you.
What does a Mocha Trip Host do?

What are my payment options?
You have two payment options to choose from. In full payment or payment installments. The payments over time are automatically drafted on a set day. When you select this option, it will give you the list of payment dates.
Is my payment secure?
Yes. Very much so. We use Stripe and Paypal to process secure payments. We do not store your credit card information.
My trip is booked with payment installments setup, but I’d like to make a larger payment than scheduled. How do I do this?

When do I get the itinerary?
Itineraries are distributed a month before travel. This allows us the flexibility needed to add special touches here and there based on the makeup of our group. Every trip is unique and is customized to the group of travelers going.
I have a promo code but it’s not working?
Promo codes have an expiration date and are no longer valid after the set time. Please be sure to get on our mailing list to receive current promotional emails.
