This fall, Atlanta’s finest will put on their boldest lipstick and stylish bowties in the name of charity. In its 5th year, Bold Lips and Bow Ties brings together some of Atlanta’s elite to party with a purpose. Held at The Gathering Spot on October 9th, Bold Lips and Bow Ties is more than just a good time.
Hosted by the Atlanta Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, this day party raises funds for notable local charities such as Silence the Shame and Aflac Cancer & Blood Disorder Centers. It brings awareness to the Jack and Jill of America Foundation, which serves children during their transitional ages from 16-25 through scholarships and programs. Jack and Jill of America is a membership organization of mothers nurturing future Black leaders ages 2-19 while advocating for all children.
Their 2018 event brought in $80,000 in funds for charities focused on children. The last event, held in 2019, generated approximately $100,000 from their sponsors, donors, and other supporters! This already sold-out event is expected to surpass the fundraising goal. Don’t fret, there are still sponsorship opportunities open to contribute to this worthy party for a cause.
