Stretched along the Atlantic Ocean, Ghana’s most populous city boasts glittering beaches, monumental buildings, museums, libraries, galleries, traditional markets, and lively nightlife. Accra’s architecture reflects its colonial history, with 17th-century castles alongside modern skyscrapers. A veritable melting pot of cultures, the city’s central financial and shopping districts contrast sharply with the less affluent residential areas surrounding the urban core.
This is a once-in-lifetime experience. For many of us, our ancestors called this land home. We’ll journey through the country to experience modern-day advances and learn the true history that can only be discovered in person.
Our package includes daily private tours in modern vehicles. Tour guides are professional and speak fluent English. Some of the sites we’ll visit include Cape Coast, Door of No Return, Asante Village, Botanical Gardens, National Park, Museums, Naming Ceremony, traditional drumming and more!
We’ll dine together as a group during the evenings. We’ll have a variety of foods to choose from with plenty of opportunities to taste the authentic flavors of West Africa. Lunch and dinner are self-pay.
Safety and comfort are of the utmost importance. Our accommodations will be at a 4-Star hotel. We will share more details on our lodging as we move closer to the trip. Eat Pray Love Muslimahs has been going strong since 2011. EPL Muslimahs intent is to have a safe space for the women in our community to receive a much-needed break.
We are mothers, wives, and in most cases, career women. We are a strong sisterhood that is beautifully cultivated. We strive to show our loved ones that self-care is important and very necessary.
For 12 years, we have traveled to destinations like Destin, FL, Pigeon Forge, TN, and Nassau, Bahamas, and this year we will travel to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.

This Land Only package includes hotel, transfers, in-country flights, tours, and all mentioned activities and meals. We will offer the group flights to Accra, Ghana, from the US as early as November 2023. You will be able to add flights to the free payment installment.
This trip is for women aged 18 and older.
This trip is an opportunity for women to bond and celebrate sisterhood. Sorry, this is a women-only trip.
Travel insurance is strongly advised. We recommend several insurance suppliers that offer multiple packages based on your needs.
Tours and activities are included in the package, as well as your daily breakfast. We recommend you budget for souvenirs, gratuities, lunch, and dinner at least $75-$100 per day.

International Flights will be offered to the group once it becomes available. Payment installments will be available for flights. Group flights require guests to depart and return on the same flight. You also have the option to book flights on your own.
If you book your own flights, please be sure the arrival date is scheduled for the start date of this package. It may be possible that the dates of this trip will be adjusted 1 – 2 days to reflect the actual scheduled flights to Accra, Ghana from the US.

You will have access to your account to view invoices, make additional payments, or change the credit card on file. You may request to pause your payments or adjust your payment schedule at any time. Past due balances directly affects the group and can result in the cancellation of your trip.
5. Cancellations and Refund
Deposits are non-refundable. Please purchase trip insurance as soon as possible. Cancellations before December 31, 2022 incurs a $250 cancellation fee. This trip is non-refundable after December 31, 2022.
