Kakum National Park & Canopy Walkway: A rainforest park known for its long canopy walkway suspended between trees, offering breathtaking views and encounters with lush vegetation and diverse wildlife.

There are several options for travel to Accra airport (ACC). We recommend Delta Air Lines flight from New York JFK Flight departing February 13th and arriving February 14th and returning on February 23 on Delta 157 to New York JFK.
Check-in for your first night in Accra is Friday February 14th at 3:00pm. Check out from your hotel in Accra is Sunday February 23rd at 11:00am.

- Pre-Travel Virtual Sessions: To ensure you are fully prepared for your journey and to provide support for the visa application process, we will host a virtual session 6 months, 3 months, and one month before departure. These sessions are key to getting you ready for the adventure ahead. Sessions are recorded for your convenience.
- This trip is curated especially for women. This trip is not suitable for children 16 years or under.

Visa Application: US citizens must apply for a tourist visa to enter Ghana. This can be a single entry or multiple entry visa. The visa is usually valid for up to 5 years, with single entry permits valid for 3 months costing $60, and multiple entry visas costing $100. Visas are valid for 90 from the date of issue, which means you should apply after Nov. 15, 2024. We recommend Rush processing which is $100 for single entry. To ensure you are fully prepared for your journey and to provide support for the visa application process, we will host a virtual session 6 months, 3 months, and one month before departure.
Documents Needed: You’ll need your US passport with at least 6 months of validity beyond your travel date and at least two blank pages, proof of sufficient funds for your stay, a round-trip flight reservation, accommodation booking, and a detailed travel itinerary.
You must be vaccinated at least ten days before your travel date. This vaccination needs to be valid, meaning it should not be more than ten years old at the time of entering Ghana. It’s important to carry a valid yellow fever vaccination certificate or records indicating your protection from yellow fever, as health officials will check these documents at all ports of entry.

- Payment Installments: You have the option to pay in full or a payment plan at no additional cost. All payments installments are automated with specific dates listed on the order form. Please review and note these dates carefully.
- Payment Schedule and Late Fees: Payments must be made according to the installment plan listed. The final payment date for this trip is Friday, December 13, 2024.
- Late fees: Late fees will be applied to payments that are 14 days overdue. Please adhere to the payment schedule to avoid any additional charges.
