Yes, U.S. citizens need a tourist visa to enter Ghana. You’ll also need a valid passport and a yellow fever vaccination certificate.
All travelers, including minors, must have a valid U.S. passport and a visa for Ghana. Special instructions apply for minor children’s visas, including notarized consent forms if only one parent is traveling. We will provide support for visa tourist application for US passport holders.
Yes, your doctor can issue a waiver for this vaccine and you must provide a letter from your doctor signed and dated upon entry to Ghana.
This is a small group guided experience. Our trip size is typically 4-6 families.

Our package includes premium accommodations, daily breakfast, curated guided experiences, ground transportation in Ghana, flights to Kumasi from Accra and select meals. International flights, travel insurance, and additional personal expenses are not included.
We host virtual sessions at 6 months, 3 months, and 1 month before departure to ensure you’re fully prepared. All sessions are recorded, so if you miss one, you can catch up at your convenience.
We suggest individuals plan to spend $150 to $200 per day, based on your personal spending habits. Note that gratuities for your driver and guide, as well as dining experiences, are included. However, alcoholic beverages, personal expenses, and any shopping or spa treatments are not included.
