THE PLAN
Your journey to South Africa begins in Johannesburg, often referred to as Jo’burg. It is South Africa’s largest city and the center of South African Commerce. Renowned as the City of Gold, Jo’burg is a vibrant city with a vast web of suburbs and townships and a wealth of history and things to do and see! Your full-day guided tour in Jo’burg includes the Hector Pieterson Museum, the iconic Apartheid Museum, and a stop in Nelson Mandela and Desmond Tutu’s neighborhood.
Next, you’ll journey to Pilanesberg National Park for an unforgettable safari experience. The Pilanesberg National Park is approximately a 2-hour drive from Jo’burg, but we promise you’ll enjoy the view. Pilanesberg is Malaria free. Join your group on daily 4×4 game drives to search for the Big 5 and other large mammals of South Africa present at the reserve. Treat yourself to some indulgence at the spa or shuttle to Sun City’s famous resort and casino for some action!
Your next destination is Cape Town, South Africa, one of the most beautiful cities in the world. Magnificent views of Table Mountain and the vast Atlantic Ocean make this city one of the most laid-back cities in the Southern Hemispheres. Guided tours in Cape Town include a full-day Peninsula Tour and Cape Winelands Day Tour.
Welcome aboard the Blue Train. As an add-on option, your family can join the ranks of Kings and presidents who have indulged on this magnificent, moving five-star “hotel-on-wheels”. Located in Sandton at Nelson Mandela Square, the 5-Star Davinci Hotel and Suites is conveniently connected to a shopping center. Access to dining, shopping, golfing and so much more, you’ll find all the comforts of home located steps away. Bakubung Bush Lodge-Pilanesburg National Park

TRAVEL INSURANCE

Trip Notes
- This is a private trip offered to invited guests of Latrese and T.J. Ferguson.
- Mocha Travel is a licensed Travel Agency offering this group package for sale.
- To book this trip, you must agree to the Terms and Conditions of Mocha Travel.
- Hotel check-in is on Wednesday October 18th, 2023 at 3pm.
- On occasion and for unforeseen reasons, the hotels and tours listed in the package may not be available and reasonable substitutions will be made.
- Passports must be valid for a minimum of 6 months from your scheduled return date to the US (approximately April 26, 2024 if departing October 26, 2023)
- Passports must have sufficient blank pages. They must be completely blank, this is a requirement.
- Returning to the US all passengers over 2 years must present a negative COVID-19 viral test result or proof of recovery in the past 90 days, regardless of vaccination status. Currently the test must be taken no more than 1 day before the flight to the US.

- Blue Train experience from Cape Town to Pretoria (Oct. 26-28,2023) will be available to book and may require payment in full. The estimated costs for the Blue Train starts at 2,250 pp for double occupancy. Only single and double occupancy is permitted for each cabin.
- The itinerary may be adjusted to synch with 2023 flights and Blue Train schedule which is currently not available.
TRIP FAQS
Travel insurance should be purchased as soon as you make your first payment.
Any additions such as flights and Blue Train experience must be updated to your insurance policy.
Flights will be available no later than January 2023.
At that time you will have the option to add the roundtrip flights to your package in addition to the intracountry flights (Jo’burg-Cape Town).
There will only be one group option for the departing flight leaving from Atlanta, GA, on Tuesday, October 17th, to arrive in Johannesburg Wednesday, October 18th, 2023. The return flight will depart Cape Town on Thursday, October 26th.
Yes, however, you are responsible for getting to Atlanta for the departing flight and your return flight home from Atlanta.
Group flights will have only one departing flight from Atlanta and returning to Atlanta.
If booking flights on your own, please be sure your flight arrives into Johannesburg, South Africa on Wednesday, October 18, 2023 and departs Johannesburg, South Africa, on Thursday, October 26,2023. If you plan to add the Blue Train experience, your departing flight from Johannesburg, South Africa, should be scheduled on Saturday, October 28, 2023 after 5pm.
You can include a person 18 years and older in your booking as long as the adult count doesn’t exceed two.
If you have more than two adults in your family, please book two packages. It is important that you book the correct package based on your child’s age during travel. We reserve the right to adjust your invoice to reflect the exact age of all guests while traveling.
For families traveling with three or more children ALL under the age of 17, please email us with the total number of guests and date of birth so we can make necessary accommodations for your family to room together.
Yes, you can make changes to add a guests to your booking, however, all changes are based on availability and must be made prior to June 1, 2023.
Should you need to cancel someone in your party it must be done in writing prior to June 1, 2023. A $150 cancel fee per guest will be imposed to adjust your booking. Bookings are non-refundable and airline fees are non-refundable.
We realize that life happens and can ruin a well-made plan. You are strongly advised to purchase trip insurance when you book. Should you need to cancel your trip please notify us immediately at hello@mocha-travel.com and contact our travel insurance company.
In the event the group is unable to travel due to new major restrictions for entry, we will make every attempt to work with the group and our suppliers and reschedule the group within one year of the original dates.
PAYMENT & CANCELLATION POLICY:
Payment installments are offered as an option to guest. Installments are auto-charged every 30 days.
Installment plans can be adjusted or paused at any time by request to hello@mocha-travel.com.
Balances must be paid by July 15, 2023.
Unpaid balances after July 15, 2023 are subject to late fees and/or cancellation without a refund.
If purchasing the Full Package with airline tickets, installment balances must be current and cannot carry a past due balance. Your flights are subject to cancellation if your payment is past due for more than 30 days.
Group trips such as this one is packaged based on the number of expected travelers. Therefore cancellations directly affects the group pricing. In the unfortunate event you need to cancel your trip, we require that you inform Mocha Travel in writing by emailing hello@mocha-travel.com and immediately contact your insurance provider.
In order to book this trip you must agree to the cancellation policy stated below.
